Classroom ideas
Students match rhyming egg pieces, read the pairs, and record their words. Follow up with the highlighting pages to help children notice shared word-family patterns. The game includes more pairs than recording spaces, so students have options if a piece goes missing.
Preparation and file details
Print the egg pieces on different colors of paper and cut them apart before the center. Provide a set for each student or group. The follow-up worksheets can be printed for independent practice.
