Ways to use this resource
Read the book, talk about how Chester feels and invite families to complete the take-home project with their child. Display the returned photos and messages where students can revisit them. Follow with a feelings response, comparison or puppet retelling activity. Families supply their own photo, and a paper bag is needed for the puppet. The book The Kissing Hand is not included.
