SIMPLE TO PREPARE
Print your preferred signs and display them in a designated calming space. Cut and laminate the visual cue cards, then place them on a ring or arrange them where students can see their choices. Add your own books, sensory tools, or comfortable seating to suit your classroom.
Introduce the strategies when students are calm, model how to use them, and practice together before students need the tools during a challenging moment.
