Who is hiring at the North Pole? This reindeer writing craft gives students a fun purpose for writing help wanted ads. Children describe a job, explain what an applicant should be able to do, and turn their writing into a holiday display.
What’s included
- Reindeer and hoof templates with four options
- Help Wanted writing pages and a sentence-starter draft
- Primary and intermediate writing options, including reindeer writing paper
- Sample ads, suggested plan, and photo examples
- Headband template and “Reindeer Want Ads” display letters
How to use it
Read a sample ad together, brainstorm North Pole jobs, and guide students through planning their own ad. Mount the writing with the reindeer pieces. Newspaper behind the display letters adds a classified-ad look to a bulletin board.
